Dear Board of Trustees,
Crystal Leach has informed us that she will be meeting with the TIDE staff next week (Tuesday, November 18 from 2:45-3:45) to discuss the potential closure of our school. While we appreciate her willingness to engage with us, it is essential that Board members themselves also be present for this conversation. We believe a more thorough understanding of TIDE's future can be reached, but only if a real conversation occurs with those making the decision.
Because no more than two Board members may attend a meeting such as this at one time, we request that two of the following members join us at TIDE:
- Sathvik Nori
- Amy Koo
- Dr. Maria Cruz
The possibility of TIDE's closure is deeply concerning. Before any decision is made, we expect the opportunity to speak directly with those responsible for determining our school's future.
