I love going to school at Tide Academy, and I would be devastated if it ever shut down. I've attended larger schools my whole life, but I've never felt as comfortable or supported as I do at Tide. Its small community helps you connect with people you might never have gotten to know otherwise. Because the school is so small, teachers are able to give students more individualized support. That has made a huge difference for me--school has always been challenging, and in bigger schools it was hard to get help because teachers were overwhelmed with so many students.
At Tide, I've grown so much as a person and as a student. I've met people who are completely different from those I knew before, and that has taught me a lot. I also truly love the teachers here. They care deeply about the school and its students, they make coming to school feel easy, and they constantly encourage us to strive for bigger and better things.
Please keep Tide open. My peers and I would be heartbroken to lose a place that has helped us so much.
